To be honest, I'm quite concerned about the state of the economy...who isn't?? There's a big ass recession and one way or another, we're all gonna have to pay. The automotive industry...parishing. Stock markets...crashing. Who has money to really shop anymore unless your filthy stinkin rich?!!
Tons of companys, banks, etc. are going out of business and everyone wants to get bailed out. In the end, we're the ones that are gonna have to pay for all this shit with our tax dollars...and I say our because this is a problem that is going to affect my generation as well. I'm worried. Just this week, I heard that there were talks about closing down Water Tower Place and Oak Brook Mall...two of my favorite places to shop. Ughhh. Where else would I go when I come downtown?? I have tons of childhood memories there!!
Well whatever happens, I just hope it won't be anything that affects us too drastically...maybe that's being a bit too hopeful?? Idk.
